Okay so I was reading the fic a while ago and eventually stopped because it was getting so long...and I'm also more of a platonic shipper. (Not that I have anything against the slash ship.) However when I came across this piece of brilliance I had to finish the story. The scene you depict is so utterly heartrenching and beautiful! God this piece you've done encaptured the amazingness of the scene!
